Our Victorian ring features a star design with seven diamonds set in 9ct gold setting. The band is set in 9ct yellow gold. The diamonds are old European cut.

An old European cut diamond were measured by eye and cut by hand, they were the most common diamond cut in the late 18th century to the 1930s. Old European Cut diamonds, like the old mine cut posses a high crown, small table, and a large, flat culet. However, the old European cut has a circular girdle. With 58 facets, it is the predecessor of today's modern round brilliant cut.
